In this role, you will assess and treat patients with a wide range of physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions. By creating personalized therapy plans, you'll help patients regain independence, improve their mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life. You will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of individuals in your community. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional health
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on patient needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, daily living activities, and cognitive function
- Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery
- Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, self-care, and long-term health strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Kentucky
- Knowledge of occupational therapy treatments, techniques, and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flexibility to work with patients across various age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
- Organizational skills and a focus on providing excellent patient care and safety
