Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Job Description We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a medical step-down unit. The unit cares for patients with conditions such as Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy. Responsibilities Provide nursing care for patients with complex medical conditions. Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status. Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, particularly in acute care or step-down units. Current RN licensure. ACLS and BLS certifications required.
