We do this by creating innovative, effective, affordable, equitable systems of care that our neighbors value.\n \n \n Principal Duties and Responsibilities\n \n Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory wound care setting through comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluation, and wound assessment.\n Demonstrate knowledge of common wound etiologies and evidence-based wound care practices.\n Perform ordered treatments and procedures, including:\n \n Vital signs\n Blood glucose monitoring\n Vascular assessments and ABIs\n Wound assessments and measurements\n Medication administration\n Specimen collection and handling\n Phlebotomy\n \n Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.\n Obtain and interpret patient and wound histories using effective interview, observation, and assessment techniques.\n Assess patient and family learning needs and provide education to support successful wound management.\n Deliver age-appropriate care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, demonstrating knowledge of growth, development, and individualized patient needs.\n Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.\n \n \n Education and Experience Requirements\n \n Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.\n Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.\n Minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience.\n Previous ambulatory or outpatient nursing experience preferred.\n Wound care experience preferred.\n Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills.\n Flexibility to provide occasional coverage at other ChristianaCare Wound Care locations in the event of emergent staffing needs after orientation.\n \n \n Join a Team Making a Difference\n If you are passionate about delivering specialized patient care, enjoy building meaningful relationships with patients, and are looking for a collaborative daytime practice environment, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity with ChristianaCare's Wound Care team.\n \n Apply today and help us provide expert wound care that promotes healing, independence, and improved quality of life.\n \n\n\nHourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37\n\nThis pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
