Lab Technician Lead

salary: $22 - $25 per hour

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing, including Brix, viscosity, pH, and other quality control analyses .
• Collect, prepare, label, and maintain product and raw material samples.
• Accurately weigh and measure raw ingredients according to formulas and batch specifications.
• Mix ingredients for laboratory trials, product development, and quality evaluations.
• Assist with and eventually perform small-scale cooking and batch preparation following established formulations and procedures.
• Record, review, and maintain accurate laboratory data, test results, and batch documentation.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated, cleaned, and maintained.
• Monitor product consistency and identify quality concerns, reporting findings to management.
• Lead daily laboratory activities by assigning work, training team members, and ensuring testing is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain compliance with all food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Keep the laboratory clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist with process improvements, new product development, and special projects as assigned.
