Scope of position: As a Laundry Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of clothing and linens for our residents and staff.

Examples Of Duties

• Collect soiled linen, clothing, and other items from nursing home units and other approved sources daily.
• Sort and label items in accordance with departmental policies.
• Wash, dry, and hand-fold clothing and linens following established procedures.
• Prepare and deliver linen carts and clothing to units or for pick-up as needed.
• Operate the laundry truck between buildings.
• Provide direction to correctional inmates for approved laundry functions.

Typical Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required—start your career with us!
• Ability to occasionally move items weighing 100 pounds

Supplemental Information

Shift Differential: $2.00/hour - 2nd shift $2.00/hour - 3rd shift 20% of base rate of pay Weekend premium – all shifts Equal Employment Opportunity Mandatory post offer physical, drug testing and Criminal records check required (County paid). * Full time positions only, paid in multiple payments over a specified period.
