About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12 Hours Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 3 years in Cath Lab License: State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS (Preferred) Must-Have: - Experience with EPIC is required - Experience with patient diagnoses including AMI, STEMI, NSTEMI, EP devices, heart arrhythmias, PAD, PVD Description: A skilled and experienced Cath Lab RN is needed to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience and possess essential certifications and skills. This position offers normal business hours with call required. Schedule options include either 4x9 hour shifts for a total of 36 hours per week or 5x8 hour shifts for a total of 40 hours per week. Candidates must specify preferred shift during submission. Call is required one night a week and every fourth weekend. The unit focuses on diagnostic procedures and interventions. Patient care may involve administering emergency medications and performing invasive procedures. Key skills include monitoring procedural sedation, assisting with central line insertion and management, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Special equipment utilized may include Impella, IABP, and various vascular closure systems. References show preference for charge experience and familiarity with adult and geriatric patient populations. The position emphasizes interdisciplinary support and collaboration with various healthcare professionals.
