ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care for patients admitted to the intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing patients requiring mechanical ventilation, vasoactive medications, and other life-sustaining treatments.

Unit Description

This is a 15-bed general community ICU that focuses on delivering high-quality critical care to patients in need.

Role Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients requiring intensive care, ensuring quick response to changes in condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including mechanical ventilation and vasoactive medications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards in the ICU.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with the ability to practice in the state.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience in critical care nursing is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations effectively.
