Effective lifecycle logistics and sustainment planning are essential to keeping airborne Battle Management Command & Control capabilities available, supportable, and ready for worldwide operations. Sumaria Systems is seeking a Logistics Manager to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) Division at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.

The AWACS Division has Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) responsibility for delivering airborne Battle Management Command & Control (BMC2) capabilities supporting joint, allied, coalition, humanitarian, and homeland defense operations. The Division is modernizing legacy mission systems, replacing aging computer architectures, integrating multi-sensor data fusion, improving expeditionary readiness and availability, supporting the planned divestiture of the E-3 platform, and helping shape follow-on airborne command and control capabilities.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Air Force or Department of Defense logistics professional who understands how acquisition, sustainment, maintenance, supply, engineering, financial management, and product support activities come together across the weapon system lifecycle. This position requires someone who can independently analyze sustainment requirements, coordinate across functional organizations, identify logistics risks, and develop actionable recommendations that improve system readiness and long-term supportability.

In this role, you will provide lifecycle logistics, product support, acquisition, and sustainment expertise to Government program leadership and Integrated Product Teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Identify and analyze requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services and align those requirements with program plans, schedules, and mission needs.

• Collaborate with Material Support Managers, Product Support Managers, engineers, program managers, and other functional specialists to develop and maintain comprehensive product support and sustainment strategies.

• Coordinate logistics activities involving Air Force, sister-service, coalition, and other mission partners as required.

• Develop and execute logistics and sustainment plans throughout the acquisition and system lifecycle.

• Support development of maintenance and lifecycle logistics plans that enable successful transition of systems and capabilities to Air Logistics Complexes and other sustainment organizations.

• Identify sustainment challenges, readiness risks, supportability gaps, and resource constraints and develop recommendations for mitigation.

• Coordinate functional specialists to refine logistics requirements, plans, schedules, and actions and ensure requirements are completed within established timelines.

• Analyze key logistics metrics including supply availability, reliability, maintainability, readiness, supportability, and other sustainment performance indicators.

• Develop and maintain logistics planning documentation, including Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), Product Support Business Case Analyses, Depot Source of Repair (DSOR)/Source of Repair Assignment (SORA) packages, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) plans, and weapon system delivery and deployment plans .

• Integrate production, delivery, depot induction, modification, and sustainment schedules to support weapon system fielding and lifecycle execution.

• Utilize supply-chain information, program dashboards, and data-analysis tools to improve asset visibility and support logistics decision-making.

• Support planning, evaluation, and implementation of acquisition and sustainment strategies in accordance with applicable DoD and Air Force guidance.

• Develop Business Case Analyses, trade studies, acquisition milestone documentation, program assessments, market research, acquisition strategy products, Integrated Master Schedules, and other program analyses as required.

• Develop briefings, reports, analyses, and decision-support products supporting acquisition milestones, logistics reviews, sustainment planning, and senior leadership decisions.

• Provide logistics input to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), including system specifications, System Requirements Documents (SRDs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and related acquisition products.

• Support development of program office estimates, financial analyses, funding assessments, and other resource-planning products.

• Support technical trade studies, integration, upgrade, modification, and aircraft-integration activities by evaluating logistics and sustainment impacts.

• Conduct independent analysis of system readiness, production preparedness, supportability, and logistics risk.

• Support Test and Evaluation planning by providing logistics and sustainment input to Test and Evaluation Strategies, Integrated Test Team activities, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, and related products.

• Support capability and requirements development activities, including Capability Based Assessments (CBAs), Initial Capability Documents (ICDs), Capability Development Documents (CDDs), and Capability Production Documents (CPDs).

• Maintain requirements traceability and support analysis necessary to update requirements documentation throughout program execution.

• Support requirements management and data visualization activities using tools such as Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) and related systems where applicable.

• Support development of Information Support Plans, Program Protection Plans, information assurance documentation, interoperability requirements, and related architecture products as required.

• Support developmental planning, technology assessments, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), and analyses identifying potential future acquisition and sustainment opportunities.

• Assist Government personnel with authorized source-selection activities, including development of evaluation criteria, acquisition strategies, documentation, analyses, reports, and briefings.

• Provide logistics and product-support recommendations to Government program leadership that improve readiness, affordability, supportability, and lifecycle performance.

• Provide administrative and program office support associated with assigned logistics and sustainment activities.

Required Skills/Education

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.

Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree with three (3) years of relevant technical or professional experience, including three (3) years supporting the Department of Defense; OR seven (7) years of directly related experience, including five (5) years supporting the Department of Defense.

Required Qualifications:

• United States Citizenship.

• Experience supporting lifecycle logistics, product support, sustainment, acquisition logistics, or related DoD activities.

• Ability to identify and analyze program requirements for funding, manpower, materiel, facilities, services, and other logistics resources.

• Experience developing or supporting logistics, maintenance, sustainment, or product-support plans.

• Understanding of DoD acquisition and lifecycle sustainment processes.

• Experience analyzing logistics metrics such as supply, reliability, maintainability, readiness, and supportability.

• Ability to identify sustainment risks and develop practical recommendations to improve program execution and system readiness.

• Experience coordinating activities across Government, contractor, engineering, logistics, and other cross-functional organizations.

• Ability to develop management reports, logistics analyses, planning documentation, briefings, and decision-support products.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to independently manage logistics actions and competing sustainment requirements.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience supporting AFLCMC, AFMC, AWACS, E-3, E-7, or related airborne command and control programs.

• Experience supporting Air Force programs at Tinker AFB or within an Air Logistics Complex environment.

• Experience developing LCSPs, ILSPs, Product Support Business Case Analyses, DSOR/SORA packages, or DMSMS plans.

• Familiarity with the Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements and Product Support Management.

• Experience with supply-chain management, provisioning, maintenance planning, depot planning, technical data, or configuration management.

• Experience supporting RFP development, SOWs, SRDs, CDRLs, acquisition strategies, or source-selection activities.

• Experience developing Business Case Analyses, trade studies, or acquisition milestone documentation.

• Familiarity with DoD requirements and JCIDS processes, including CBAs, ICDs, CDDs, and CPDs.

• Experience with requirements-management tools such as DOORS.

• Experience supporting developmental planning, technology assessments, system integration, or Test and Evaluation activities.

• Familiarity with DoD acquisition and sustainment policies and processes.

Travel: Limited travel may be required in support of program objectives.

Security Clearance Required: Active Secret Security Clearance.
