Expeditor PositionThe restaurant Expeditor ensures quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner; that food orders are prepared and assembled quickly according to recipes and procedures to avoid waste; and that the line is always stocked, neat, clean and safe.Job Responsibilities:Timeliness- Ensures kitchen orders are prepared in a timely manner and sent out together by directing servers and/or food runners to deliver and complete the ordersPace- Brisk and steady, organized, no unnecessary stepsRecipe Adherence -- Ensures proper presentation of each plate and the appropriate temperatureCleanliness -- Maintain the kitchen and all of its equipment to a "like new" condition. Practice clean as you go!Productivity -- Your productivity is measured, not only by the quality of what you do, but by the quantity of work you complete in a specific time periodOrganization skills are a mustThink ahead -- Stock supplies before the rushKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to handle multiple tasks and balance fluctuating workloadAbility to work and communicate well with othersAttention to detail and ability to take initiative a mustResponsible behavior and professional imageMust have a positive attitudeSafe food handling and safety is always a top priorityMust be a team playerQualifications:2 years of work or related experience preferredMust be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends and holidays
