Respiratory Therapist: NICU

Job Description: Step into a travel respiratory care contract in Cincinnati, Ohio, delivering both critical and non-critical cardiopulmonary support across inpatient and outpatient areas. This assignment is built for a Respiratory Care Practitioner who can perform and monitor respiratory interventions for patients of all age groups, using both invasive and noninvasive techniques. On 12-hour nights, you’ll assess response to therapy, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and accurately document findings in the legal patient record while keeping department information organized and up to date. You’ll also collaborate with physicians regarding cardiopulmonary status and support safety-focused education for patients and families, including disease state understanding, wellness, home care modalities, and age-appropriate needs. If you enjoy being a steady guide on the floor, you may also take part in precepting students and new team members, participating in in-services and meetings, and supporting departmental competencies and communications—plus occasional charge/team leader responsibilities as assigned.
