About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's transformation and resilience. The CPO will be a key member of the Executive team, setting the vision and executing a modern human capital strategy that aligns with the organization's strategic goals and core values. This includes leading significant organizational evolution, mentoring a People team, and ensuring that diversity, equity, and inclusion are deeply embedded in the company's culture and operational systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in executive leadership, change management, and a proven ability to balance high-level strategy with operational execution. Experience in labor relations, particularly within unionized environments, and a deep understanding of the systemic challenges facing marginalized communities, are essential. The ideal CPO for the company will have 10-15 years' of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years' in an executive role, and a track record of success in managing culture and performance across remote teams. They should be adept at integrating organizational values and DEI practices into the employee lifecycle and have the ability to develop personnel frameworks tailored to high-stress, crisis-focused environments. The role also involves overseeing HR operations, including budget management and ensuring compliance with policies and laws. The CPO will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, General Counsel, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Communications Officer, and will be responsible for the People function's budget and technical resources.
