Registered Nurse - Oncology (RN)

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology to join our team. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing treatment for cancer and related conditions.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Location

This position is based in Duluth, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed.
• Monitor and manage patient responses to treatments.
• Educate patients and families about the treatment process and ongoing care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an oncology nursing specialty.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification.
• NIH certification required.
• Chemotherapy certification and the ability to administer chemotherapy are mandatory.
• Preferred experience includes trauma level 1, oncology, or ICU nursing.

Holiday Expectations

Employees are required to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
