Data Specialist (Part-Time)

Location: Queens Community House, Forest Hills, NY

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5 PM to 10 PM (25 hours/week)

Compensation: $25/hour (commensurate with experience)

Department: Adult Education

Reports to: Adult Education Manager

Queens Community House is a multi-site, multi-service settlement house serving the vibrant and diverse communities of Queens. Our mission is to empower individuals and families with the tools they need to enrich their lives and build strong, inclusive communities.

We're looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy team member to help us manage and analyze data for our Adult Education programs. You'll play a key role in keeping our data accurate, organized, and insightful, helping us meet compliance requirements and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage databases with precision and care.
• Enter, update, and validate program data across multiple platforms.
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports for funders, internal teams, and program evaluations.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure timely and accurate data entry.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies.
• Train team members on database usage and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with funder and organizational data policies.
• Support program evaluation through data analysis and insights.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 2 years in database management, ideally in a nonprofit or educational setting.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, DYCD Connect, and/or ASISTS is a big plus.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and love solving problems.
• Able to work independently and thrive in a collaborative environment.
