Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

NP/PA - CVOR First Assist Opportunity - Eastern North Carolina

Position Overview
A leading healthcare system in eastern North Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant or RNFA-certified Nurse Practitioner to join its cardiothoracic surgery team as a Cardiac Surgery First Assist (CVOR). The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience with a high-volume CT surgery program and proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting.

Over 1,000 pump cases performed annually
Robotic surgery program
If NP, RNFA certification required
Structured orientation for both NPs and PAs
BLS and ACLS required (American Heart Association)
Compensated call schedule
