Responsibilities

Provide high-quality hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments

Deliver an elevated, personalized experience for every client

Conduct thorough consultations to understand client goals and maintain hair health

Stay up to date with current trends, techniques, and continued education

Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all sanitation standards

Recommend professional products and services to support client results

Build and maintain strong relationships to encourage client retention

Grow and maintain a loyal personal clientele

Participate in salon education, trainings, and team collaboration

Support salon events, promotions, and community initiatives as needed

Requirements

Active Cosmetology License (Virginia)

Established clientele and ability to bring and retain clients

Experience with modern coloring techniques (blonding, balayage, lived-in color, etc.)

Strong cutting and styling skills

Passion for continued education and staying current in the industry

Professional, reliable, and team-oriented

Strong communication and customer service skills

Confidence in retail product recommendations

Social media presence or willingness to promote your work and build your brand

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed
