What will you do as a PMC Nurse (RN) As a PMC Nurse (RN), you will serve as an essential part of the patient’s experience by providing skilled nursing services under the direction of a professional medical doctor, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant. Responsibilities include collecting patient health data, analyzing data to determine diagnoses, developing a plan of care, implementing interventions, and evaluating patient progress while collaborating with the healthcare team. A day in the life of a PMC Nurse (RN) may include: Review patient records, ensuring they are complete with regard to ordered studies. Assure examination rooms are properly equipped and all equipment is working. Work with office staff on the precertification process and may call for pre-certifications. Work with patient account representatives and secretaries to facilitate referrals and patient care. Gather patient information for vital signs, medication reconciliation, allergies, etc. Provide the highest quality of care to our patients and the communities we serve. Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications Two years of RN experience in a clinical/ambulatory setting. Experience working with an EMR system. Shift Day Shift Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays. PRN as needed.
