About This Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time 4K Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Beaver Dam, WI. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and engaging classroom environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of four-year-old children. This position is ideal for an educator who thrives on sparking curiosity and preparing young learners for their transition into kindergarten.

4K class runs Monday - Thursday from 8:30a - 11:30a. Class max size is 10 kids.

What You'll Do

Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily activities.
Provide a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
Assess and monitor student progress to adapt teaching methods to individual needs.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and development.
Collaborate with school staff and administrators to support program goals.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
Valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching license for early childhood.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

Nice To Haves

Certification in CPR and First Aid.
Experience working with diverse student populations and inclusive classrooms.
Familiarity with local Beaver Dam community resources and school district standards.
