MRI Technologist
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority
As an MRI Technologist, you perform MRI exams, ensuring safe, accurate imaging and compassionate patient care. You verify orders, obtain medical histories, screen for MRI safety, position patients, and operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images. You prepare and document IV contrast as directed, follow radiation and MRI safety guidelines, assist in emergencies, maintain clean and stocked work areas, and collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other staff to support high-quality patient diagnosis and treatment.
