Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to gather detailed information about clients’ substance use history and mental health conditions. \n
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the complex interplay between addiction and any underlying mental health issues. \n
- Lead both individual and group therapy sessions using established evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. \n
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to create a seamless continuum of care and effective communication among all parties involved in the treatment process. \n
- Involve clients’ families in the recovery journey through educational sessions and support, enhancing the overall therapeutic experience. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant records to meet both legal and organizational standards. \n
Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol, opioids, and stimulants. The clients you will serve range from adolescents to adults, each with unique challenges related to their substance use. You will also address co-occurring disorders, further enhancing your role’s importance in facilitating comprehensive care and recovery support.

- A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD is essential for this role. \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required. \n
- Specialized training or relevant experience in addiction counseling is strongly preferred. \n
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders is critical. \n
- Demonstrated therapeutic and counseling skills, with a capacity to motivate clients toward meaningful change. \n
- Strong oral and written communication abilities, along with effective teamwork capabilities. \n
