The role involves a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 to 1-2 most of the time. This position requires handling fresh open-heart cases and mixed ICU patients with recent related experience. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive care to patients in the Cardiac ICU. Administer medications and manage cardiac monitoring equipment. Coordinate with the hospitalist team for ongoing patient care. Participate in the unit's floating policy to tele or medsurg units as needed. Requirements: Current and valid RN License. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS with PALS preferred. Proven experience with critical care, specifically with fresh open-heart surgeries. Proficiency with Cerner EMR systems and GE monitors.
