This position is responsible for communicating effectively to ensure that trucks are shipped complete and on time, continuously striving to improve productivity, effectiveness, quality, and safety. It is essential that this individual can work successfully both independently and as part of a team with varied strengths.You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):Load and/or unload trucks properlyAbility to work with computers or the ICIM program and scannersAbility to read and understand customer orders and shipping labelsCheck for quality accuracy based on the quality guidelinesUse of essential measuring equipmentAbility to use lift equipment and obtain the required licensureMay require coordinating and transporting inventoryEffectively working with othersMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentDependable attendanceMay be required to work beyond scheduled work hours to meet delivery scheduleMust be self-motivated and require minimal supervisionAdditional duties as assignedAlso want to make sure you have:Standing and/or walking for 8 – 10 hours a dayPerforming repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motionsWorking at an established production rate pace entailing pushing and/or pulling of materials up to 150 poundsLifting up to 75 pounds as well as moving product on the floor of the trailers ranging from 50-400 pounds, team lifting may be required for heavier liftingBending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and turningWe invite you to See Yourself at MarvinFrom people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
