Research Scientist I – Contract – Lexington, MA Join a leading pharmaceutical company to conduct impactful research. Proclinical is seeking a Scientist to join the Immunology and Inflammation group and contribute towards innovative research. Primary Responsibilities Design and conduct in vivo and in vitro studies, analyze data, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Plan and execute experiments independently. Skills & Requirements Hands‑on experience handling and caring for mice, including blood and tissue sample collection and processing. Proficiency in tissue culture, primary cell handling, cell‑based assays, ELISA, multiplex assays (MSD, Luminex), flow cytometry. Familiarity with FlowJo, Omiq, Microsoft Office, MacOS, GraphPad Prism. Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills. Ability to independently plan and execute experiments. BS or MS degree in a relevant field with significant hands‑on experience in industry or academia. Research Scientist Responsibilities Design, plan, and perform in vivo studies using models of gut inflammation. Process organs for immune cell isolation and analysis. Maintain, expand, and modulate cells, evaluating them through in vitro assays. Analyze experimental data using biological and statistical software. Collaborate closely with teams across the organization to drive research objectives. Document experimental procedures and results accurately and thoroughly. Compensation $35 to $41 per hour.
