Maintenance Tech

Job TitleMajor Duties And Responsibilities:Follows and comply with company work and safety rules.Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using hand and power tools, examining form and function of parts, looking for defects and irregularities.Repairs or replaces broken or malfunctioning components.Determines changes in size of worn parts by inspecting them using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments and comparing to specifications.Reads technical manuals to understand equipment and controls.Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications.Checks the performance of machinery.Maintains work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and good housekeeping manner.PLC troubleshooting,Install and run conduits for 240.Repairs and troubleshooting for both pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Electrical Technician troubleshooting all types of electrical panels, change belts, motors, and conveyors.Repair hydraulic presses, spot weldersMust be able to work on automation – combination of technical fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and a systems-thinking mindset.Must be proficient with diagrams and schematics – blueprintsMust be able to work 40+ hours per week, occasionally Saturdays, and call ins after scheduled work hours.Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. Degree or certificate in industrial maintenance a definite plus.Language Skills: Fluent in English. Ability to read and comprehend instructions.General Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use trades math, read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
