Litigation Associate

A law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to handle complex litigation matters across a variety of industries. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and seeks strong career growth opportunities while working on sophisticated litigation matters.

Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Commercial Real Estate
• Construction Litigation
• Property Liability
• Employment Law
• Mass Tort Defense

Key responsibilities include managing litigation matters from inception through resolution, conducting legal research and drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery responses, assisting with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation, supporting case strategy and overall litigation management, communicating effectively with attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel, and maintaining organized case files and ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications include an active North Carolina Bar license, 2–6 years of litigation experience preferred, candidates with 1+ years of relevant litigation experience will also be considered, strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment, self-motivation with strong attention to detail, and experience in the listed practice areas strongly preferred.
