Director of Safety - Commercial Roofing $140,000 - $160,000 per year | Phoenix, AZ | On‑site | Permanent Lead & mold the safety function from the front in this large and growing commercial roofing organization – safety is a priority here! We are an established construction services organization with an existing safety platform and strong operational foundation. We are seeking a strategic safety leader to take ownership of our program, strengthen execution, and continue driving a world‑class safety culture across the organization. Why join us? The Director of Safety will lead and oversee all aspects of the company’s existing safety program across field and operational teams. This person is not expected to build a program from the ground up—but rather bring leadership, accountability, process improvement, and field presence to elevate performance and ensure consistent execution. Job Details Lead and manage the company’s existing safety program and initiatives Partner with Operations and Executive Leadership to drive safety performance Oversee OSHA compliance, policies, audits, and reporting Conduct field visits, inspections, and support project teams Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Track and improve key safety metrics (TRIR, EMR, recordables, etc.) Drive training, engagement, and accountability throughout the organization Standardize safety expectations and execution across regions and teams Support subcontractor and field compliance initiatives Qualifications 8+ years of construction or commercial roofing safety leadership experience Experience overseeing established multi‑site or regional safety programs Strong working knowledge of OSHA and construction safety standards Proven ability to influence operations and drive adoption in the field Experience managing audits, incident response, and performance metrics CSP, CHST, OSHA 500, or related certifications preferred Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
