About the Role:
Join The Sweet Onion Restaurant as a Host in our vibrant Waynesville, NC location! This exciting role is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and love creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Provide information about menu items and specials to enhance guest experience.
- Coordinate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area.
- Assist in training new staff members on hosting procedures.
- Support promotional events and special occasions as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hosting or customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is a plus.
- Hospitality training is a bonus.
