The Role We are seeking a Relationship Manager to join our fast-growing team. This role is essential to delivering an exceptional client experience by managing communication, coordinating workflows, and supporting client needs. The Relationship Manager serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client operations, ensuring requests are routed appropriately, deadlines are met, and clients feel consistently supported. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys client-facing work, and excels at keeping multiple moving pieces aligned in a remote environment.

Expected Responsibilities

Client Communication & Experience

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client communication and operational questions
• Maintain a high-touch, responsive, and professional client experience
• Triage incoming requests and escalate accounting or advisory questions to the Account Manager as needed
• Ensure clients understand timelines, deliverables, and communication channels

Workflow Coordination & Task Management

• Track recurring client deadlines (month-end close, payroll cycles, reporting schedules)
• Follow up with clients for missing documentation, approvals, or action items
• Coordinate internally with bookkeepers, AP support, payroll specialists, and Account Managers to keep work moving smoothly
• Manages the discrepancy workbook and client facing excel chart. Reviews initial DW questions from the accounting clerks
• Maintain client task trackers and ensure nothing falls through the cracks

Meeting Support & Follow-Up

• Schedule client meetings to review software related questions and project worksheet clean up as needed
• Prepare agendas and collect client questions in advance
• Document meeting outcomes and ensure follow-up tasks are completed
• Support Accounting Managers in maintaining proactive client touchpoints
