Senior Content Designer

Own end-to-end content design for complex, ambiguous product areas spanning B2B and consumer domains Establish and evolve content standards, voice and tone guidelines, and reusable patterns across squads and product surfaces Use behavioral data and user research to evaluate content decisions and iterate based on evidence and expertise Proactively identify content gaps and opportunities Review and provide feedback on UX, product management, and engineering team members' work Partner with UX leadership to promote the value and process of content design Collaborate with product management, product design, UX research, and engineering Shape the language, structure, and flow of product experiences for shoppers, brand clients, and publishers Uphold Ibotta's Core Values Requirements 4 to 6 years of experience in content design, UX writing, content strategy, or a related field Experience within a consumer-facing tech product or marketplace/platform environment Experience with conversational design Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Human-Centered Design, a related field, or equivalent professional experience Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end content design work, writing process, problem-solving skills, polished UI copy, and measurable user-experience impact Excellent facilitation and communication skills Experience building or scaling content systems, style guides, or governance frameworks across multiple teams or products Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma Familiarity with collaboration/documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex Curiosity about understanding users and empathizing with their problems Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in end-to-end content design, UX writing, and content strategy, with a strong focus on user research and behavioral data to inform content decisions.
