Diesel Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Diesel MechanicMega Disposal has immediate opening for a Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team at our site in Seekonk, MA.Schedule: Monday - Friday 4pm start time / 50 to 55 hours per week / Saturdays as needed.Pay Rate: $20.00 to $40.00 per hour, plus shift differential. Earning potential of $75,000+ annually with available overtime and bonus opportunities.As a key member of our automotive maintenance technicians team, your work as a Diesel Mechanic will focus on the overall maintenance of equipment used by our company in the transportation and handling of vehicles. This will involve inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, hydraulics, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.Duties And Responsibilities:Initiating or assigning repairs by utilizing vehicle computer electronic systems to interpret failure modesCompleting required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair timesReviewing, completing, or assigning repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection ReportsConducting safety checks on vehicles and equipmentPerforming service calls for emergency breakdownsMaintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standardsWhat We Need From You:Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the fieldValid Driver's License with Clean Driving RecordSchedule flexibility to work 2nd shift Monday-Friday and occasional SaturdaysAbility to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignmentsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsWelding/fabrication experience, a major plusWhat You'll Get From Us:Competitive Compensation401(K) with company match; let us help you save for your futureHealthcare; Medical, Dental, VisionPerks, perks, perks!
