Job Opportunity

Position Summary

This position is for a Registered Nurse with expertise in delivering patient care in the context of interventional cardiac catheterizations and invasive vascular procedures. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the supplies and devices utilized in coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, thrombectomy, stenting, and various related procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during interventional cardiac procedures.
• Circulate and monitor during cardiac catheterizations and invasive vascular procedures.
• Ensure the availability and proper use of necessary supplies and devices.
• Participate in STEMI call coverage as required.

Unit Description

The department operates within a hospital-based setting, dedicated to offering both cardiac testing and invasive cardiovascular procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations. Equipped with two invasive procedure rooms, the unit is committed to providing 24-hour STEMI coverage, ensuring immediate and effective care for patients with cardiac emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• State License Verification (Nursys) required.
• Prior experience in a related field is preferred.
