About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year minimum License: Pending license accepted at manager's discretion Certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT Must-Have: Siemens experience required Description: The position is for a CT Tech working nights Friday through Sunday. Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Certifications required include BLS and ARRT-CT. Candidates should not be more than 70 miles from the facility. Requests for time off must be submitted with the application. Additional requests for time off after confirmation are at the manager's discretion. Experience with Siemens equipment is required. Experience with EPIC charting is preferred but not required. The facility has a comprehensive stroke program and is an academic institution. All scanners are accredited by the American College of Radiology. Travelers must comply with safety regulations and complete fit testing. Travelers must shave for the mask to ensure a proper fit for testing. Failure to comply with fit testing requirements will result in cancellation of the position. The facility utilizes all Siemens equipment purchased new in 2020. The unit supports a variety of patient diagnoses and provides trauma care. A daily caseload averages 150 patients over a 24-hour period. All clinicians cannot work as travelers beyond one year without taking a break. Travelers are also required to maintain compliance with safety protocols. Modules are not billable and must be completed before the start date. All modules will be documented on transcripts.
