Inside Sales Specialist

We’re excited to add an Inside Sales Specialist to our growing team. This role serves as a key point of contact for our customers, supporting the sales process from initial request through order fulfillment. The Inside Sales Specialist plays a critical role in delivering reliable service, building long‑term customer relationships, and supporting business growth. RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as an ongoing point of contact for customers, handling inbound RFQs, clarifying technical details, and responding to inquiries by phone and email. Own the quote to order process, developing competitive pricing while maintaining margin discipline. Interpret customer requirements, material specifications, and order parameters to ensure quotes align with lead times and quality standards. Develop working knowledge of specialty steel products, supply chain dynamics, and end‑use applications across multiple industries.QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution environment. At least 2 to 4 years' experience in full‑cycle sales, account management, or customer‑facing commercial roles. Strong analytical, math, and Excel skills to develop data‑driven pricing strategies and analyze margins. Foundational experience leveraging ERP (Invex) and/or CRM (HubSpot) data for customer history, pricing support, and order execution. High attention to detail, paired with clear, professional written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working with technical specifications and pricing models. Service‑oriented professional with a strong sense of reliability and a desire for continuous learning and development.SALARY/BENEFITS
