Key Qualifications

• Active certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license or eligibility
• American Heart Association BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Proven experience in acute care, critical care, or similar hospital environments
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Primary Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by providers
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, modifying therapy as needed for optimal outcomes
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation management
• Provide patient and family education on respiratory care, equipment use, and disease management
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with facility guidelines
• Participate in emergency response and rapid response teams as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care

$1,832 - $2,004/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
