Core Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth patient evaluations, request necessary diagnostic examinations, and develop personalized care regimens
• Identify and manage acute, episodic, or chronic health issues, collaborating closely with physicians or autonomously (depending on credentialing)
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding preventive care, wellness strategies, and management of diseases
• Authorize necessary medications and interventions in accordance with your practice scope
• Engage in ongoing patient management and chronic disease care
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive, integrated patient care
• Maintain thorough and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications for Success

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure and Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Ohio
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
