Physical Therapist Assistant
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist Physical Therapists in providing personalized and evidence-based therapy services to patients. Your role will involve implementing therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical well-being and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist in patient assessments and developing treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques.
- Educate patients on exercises, assistive devices, and ergonomic adjustments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and progress notes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of therapy equipment.
- Stay current with physical therapy advancements and participate in professional development.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Experience in a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with EHR systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Shift: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
