Shop Foreman (Sheet Metal Fabrication)
Pay Range: $25–$35/hr 
Schedule: 1st shift, flexible hours (7:00 am–4:00 pm or 8:00 am–5:00 pm), Monday–Friday
Location:  Allendale, MI

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shop Foreman to lead our sheet metal fabrication shop, ensuring seamless daily operations and the delivery of top-quality work. In this pivotal role, you will supervise fabrication activities, coordinate with internal teams and clients, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards. • Lead and supervise all fabrication processes—including welding and assembly—to maintain efficient workflow and meet production deadlines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to support accurate layout and fabrication.
• Schedule and coordinate shop and field operations, ensuring smooth transitions from fabrication to installation while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, and quality assurance to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
• Manage procurement processes, including processing purchase orders and handling relevant paperwork between the shop and office.
• Approve employee time entries using online timekeeping systems, ensuring accurate labor tracking.
• Foster a safe work environment by implementing and enforcing proper safety protocols.
• Maintain effective communication with team members, clients, and internal partners via email and in-person meetings.

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in sheet metal fabrication, with prior leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical specifications.
• Proven organizational skills, reliability, and a leadership style that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Valid driver’s license and proficiency with MS Office.
• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Must pass a non-DOT pre-employment drug screening.
