A leading provider of optometric care for correctional facilities in Florida is seeking a Mobile Optometrist to join its team. The organization serves numerous facilities and offers a flexible travel radius determined by the optometrist's location. This opportunity is open to both part-time (1099) and full-time (W2 or 1099) employment. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive optometric care to inmates in correctional facilities Travel to assigned facilities within a reasonable radius from your home base Focus on medical optometry, managing a wide range of ocular diseases and urgent eye care needs Maintain accurate records and comply with all facility and regulatory requirements Compensation: Minimum $1,000 per day Average $1,500–$2,000 per day Florida-based full-time ODs can earn $400,000–$500,000 annually Benefits for Full-time W2 Employees: 100% employer-paid healthcare Up to $8,000 in CE reimbursement 401(k) with employer match Up to 4 weeks of unpaid time off Why Join Us?
