Product Lifecycle Management Engineer

Our client, a global leader in energy and power generation solutions , is seeking a Product Lifecycle Management Engineer to join their team. As a Product Lifecycle Management Engineer , you will be part of the Configuration Management Organization supporting the Order-to-Remittance (OTR), Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sourcing Teams . The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent collaboration skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Product Lifecycle Management Engineer
Location: Schenectady, NY
Pay Range: $35/hour

What's the Job?

• Create and maintain Engineering Bills of Materials (EBOMs) and Unit BOMs throughout the product lifecycle.
• Convert and release Manufacturing BOMs (MBOMs) through ERP systems such as PowerMax.
• Manage project structures for Steam Turbine and Generator products.
• Support Configuration Management activities, engineering changes, and BOM integrity reviews.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Project teams to ensure accurate product definition and execution.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Experience with BOM management, product definition development, and configuration management processes.
• Knowledge of ERP and/or PLM systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment
