Cardiac Surgery RN First Assistant
The Cardiac RN First Assistant (RNFA) works under the supervision of the attending physician, assisting in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and various intraoperative technical functions essential for safe surgical operations. This role encompasses preoperative and postoperative duties to enhance the care of surgical patients throughout the perioperative period. The RNFA will primarily serve as a second assistant in cardiac surgical cases and will be required to support the cardiac surgery program across multiple locations within the region.
The ideal candidate will exhibit strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a surgical team, and a commitment to ongoing professional development in cardiac surgical practices.
