Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Room – Tyler, TX 75708

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend required. Patient ratio of 3:1. Daily census of 34 patients with approximately 32 visits per day in a 14-bed emergency department.

Highlights:

• 91-day travel assignment in a dynamic emergency department serving all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
• Epic charting system with 24-36 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract
• Opportunity to utilize advanced emergency nursing skills including trauma care, procedural sedation, and critical interventions

Requirements:

• Active Texas or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Minimum 2-3 years of emergency department nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Epic charting system experience required
• Charge nurse experience and community hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency in emergency care skills including trauma management, arterial line management, ventilated patient care, IV vasopressors, and triage
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Geographic restrictions apply for certain local county residents
