We are looking for a Customer Care Representative to join our team. The pay range for this role will depend on experience and qualifications.Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:30am to 6:00pm with 1 full weekend every 4 weeks hours 8:00am to 4:30pm and 2 flex daysPosition Summary:This customer service oriented role is on the front-line of answering calls and scheduling appointments for patients. Customer Care Representatives answer calls in a friendly, welcoming, and timely manner while verifying patient information and executing pre-screening duties.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Answer telephone calls to schedule appointments for new or current patients.Outbound calls to schedule appointments.Reviews preps, follows scheduling guidelines and prescreens patients appropriately.Verifies and updates patient demographic data and insurance coverage while scheduling appointments.Respects patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA standards.Follows up with patients through various communication channels.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to multi-task and function in a fast paced, high call volume environment.Demonstrates initiative in problem solving and resolving customer satisfaction issuesExcellent organizational skillsCustomer service skills - empathetic, active listener, who has strong follow through skillsProficient computer skills and data entry skillsCritical thinking – the ability to think creatively, problem solve and work independentlyEducational Requirements:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceWork Smart, Live Well: The success of Advanced Radiology is earned every day through our dedication to quality patient care and continual improvement of the patient experience.
