Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility)
- Experience providing assessments, counseling, and interventions in K-12 settings
- Strong understanding of special education law and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
- Excellent skills in consultation, collaboration, and communication with educators and families
- Dedication to culturally responsive practices and student advocacy
- Ability to balance multiple caseloads and maintain detailed documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management support
- Consult with staff on academic and behavioral interventions, developing strategies tailored to diverse learners
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
- Uphold all professional standards, confidentiality, and district policies
