In this role, you will lead a team of Customer Solutions Managers responsible for guiding several of our largest global financial services customers along their multi-year journey — from cloud migration and application modernization to generative AI and agentic AI transformation. You will recruit, nurture, and drive a group of highly talented CSMs who are customer obsessed with outcomes, while owning the strategy, growth, and operational excellence of the segment.Key job responsibilitiesYou’ll lead a team of Customer Solutions Managers covering several of the largest GFS Banking relationships, guiding both your team and your customers as they modernize and place big bets on AI — across three pillars:• ð Value Realization — Own a significant segment revenue and migration portfolio and set the strategy for how your team accelerates business outcomes across migration, modernization, and AI. Connect customers with the right AWS services — including generative AI and agentic AI capabilities — partner solutions, and best practices at the right time to turn ambitious AI bets into production-scale value.• ð Enablement — Build the mechanisms that grow both your team’s capabilities and your customers’ cloud and AI fluency — skills guilds, experience-based accelerators, generative AI enablement, training partnerships, and hands-on learning — while developing the next generation of CSM talent.• ️ Governance — Help customers establish the operating models and structures (Cloud/AI Center of Excellence, responsible-AI and governance frameworks, communities of practice, adoption frameworks) that set them up for long-term, scalable success with AI and modernization, and establish the team mechanisms that drive consistent, high-quality delivery.A day in the lifeYou’ll split your time between leading and developing your team, direct executive engagement, and internal orchestration across AWS. On any given day, you might:• Coach CSMs through complex customer situations and career development conversations• Set strategic direction and priorities for the segment based on customer needs and business objectives• Own the segment’s migration, modernization and AI portfolio and revenue impact, collaborating with sales leadership. • Engage directly with senior customer executives to shape account strategy and unblock large-scale transformations tied to migrations, modernization, generative and agentic AI, data & analytics, or product reinvention• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, Professional Services, Partner teams, and Specialists• Manage complex escalations and critical-issue resolution• Establish and maintain best practices for talent development, team performance, and operational excellence• Package your team’s best practices into reusable assets that elevate the entire CSM communityThis is a New York based people-leadership role. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
