Serata, a seasonal, ingredient driven, fine dining restaurant, offering a multi-course tasting menu opened in the summer of 2025 is looking for a Pastry Chef to join the team and create 3 to 4 Fine Dining Desserts along with a Seasonal Gelato, and Mignardeses. Serata, located in Elmont, 10 minutes outside Queens and one mile from Belmont racetrack and UBS arena, is a Modern Italian restaurant that will focus on impeccable ingredient sourcing throughout all the seasons to offer guests an exceptional dining experience.

Chef Nicholas Beck, the executive Chef, Most notably from Eleven Madison Park is looking for a passionate, and experienced Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team.

As the Pastry Chef you will gain a solid understanding of our style of service and our company's culture. This position lays the groundwork for all future opportunities for growth within our team.

Operations:

• 3 to 4 Fine Dining Pastry Desserts, including a Gelato, Sheet Cakes for events
• Maintain the level of standards established by Serata
• Manage all aspects of the pastry operations
• Responsible for all aspects of food production including but not limited to quality assurance.
• Have strong English communication skills
• Must be able to nurture and maintain a team environment
• Conducts meetings where food issues are discussed
• Ensure that needed supplies are on hand

Compensation: Hourly ($25.00 - $35.00)
