Location: Cincinnati, OH, 45237 Shift: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Duration: 3 Months Pay: $18/hr.

Job Summary

Responsible for the efficient shipping, receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution of materials within the Business Unit (BU) and remote facilities. Ensures accurate documentation, inventory control, data entry, and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, process, and route incoming materials to appropriate locations within the facility and remote sites.
• Enter shipment and receipt data accurately into the Materials Management system.
• Review shipping documentation and report discrepancies or damaged materials to the Warehouse Manager.
• Prepare and process outbound shipments, including required shipping documentation.
• Manage returned goods in accordance with Returned Goods Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Deliver inventory and stock items to designated department staging areas.
• Organize and store warehouse inventory in assigned locations while maintaining proper stock rotation based on receipt and expiration dates.
• Identify and report short-dated materials (less than 30 days shelf life) to the Warehouse Manager for resolution.
• Support cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
• Assist with order entry, picking, packing, shipping, and delivery for internal and external orders.
• Support record storage, retrieval, and document management processes.
• Assist with preparation, receipt, and distribution of internal and external mail as needed.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.
• Follow all company policies and regulatory requirements related to safety, compliance, OSHA, CLIA, Human Resources, and Materials Management.
• Perform additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

• Minimum 6 months of experience in materials management, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or inventory control preferred.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Accurate record-keeping and inventory tracking abilities.
• Proficiency with computers, barcode scanners, printers, and warehouse systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 70 pounds.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks preferred.
