Description Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period) Benefit eligible; IPERS Mon - Fri.; day position, shift starts at 5:15a, 6:45a or 7a, rotating weekends Critical thinking skills, organized and a positive attitude Strong team-player Provides support with daily activities of hospital business office Register patients, schedule appointments, answer in-coming calls and collect patient financial liability payments Excellent customer service experience Familiar with medical insurance Medical terminology knowledge preferred Notary Public, will train High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of one (1) year experience of patient access functions working within a hospital or clinic environment preferred Effective written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary in dealing with peers, internal and external customers Strong clerical and computer skills EPIC experience a plus, or other Employee Medical Record System Why Choose Us?
