Class A CDL Truck Driver

Pay: $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience and assignment
Location: Pierce County and King County, WA
Job Types: Local, Regional, and Over-the-Road (OTR) Opportunities

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Truck Drivers for a variety of driving opportunities throughout Pierce and King Counties. We have local, regional, and over-the-road positions available, offering opportunities for drivers with different levels of experience and schedule preferences. Qualified candidates should have a strong commitment to safe driving practices, dependable attendance, and the ability to transport freight efficiently while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight, materials, and deliveries to designated destinations.
• Complete local, regional, or OTR routes based on the assigned position.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is safe and roadworthy.
• Secure, inspect, and verify loads to ensure freight is transported safely.
• Complete delivery paperwork, bills of lading, and electronic logs accurately.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and applicable traffic laws.
• Communicate with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding deliveries, delays, and route updates.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight when required by the assignment.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and report maintenance concerns or equipment issues promptly.
• Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Current medical certification and ability to meet applicable DOT requirements.
• Safe driving record and commitment to following transportation regulations.
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred; requirements may vary by assignment.
• Ability to complete required vehicle inspections and maintain accurate driving records.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules and routes.
• Willingness to travel overnight for regional and OTR assignments, when required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the assigned position, including lifting, securing freight, or assisting with loading and unloading when applicable.

Available Opportunities

• Local Routes: Home daily with deliveries and pickups throughout the surrounding area.
• Regional Routes: Travel throughout Washington and neighboring states, with overnight stays depending on the route.
• OTR Routes: Longer-distance transportation with extended time on the road and overnight travel.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay ranging from $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.
• A variety of driving opportunities throughout Pierce and King Counties.
• Potential overtime, depending on the position.
• Temporary, temp-to-hire, and long-term opportunities may be available.
• On the temp-to-hire program, you will have access to a basic MEC plan.
