Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift hours are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekdays, some weekends, and holidays.

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit team. The candidate will provide essential care to critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during the night shift. This role may require floating to other units as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Critical Care Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
• Document all patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
• Assist in emergency situations and respond to code blue calls as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current North Carolina RN license or compact RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are required.
• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in critical care is required; travel experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC, is required.
