Qualifications:

• Hold active GaPSC Teaching Educator Certification with a Special Education General Curriculum endorsement
• Experience working in inclusion classroom settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning environment for students with varying abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support and behavioral guidance to students within an inclusion classroom
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education and special education teams to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies
• Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining accurate documentation
• Maintain open communication with parents and assist in district-led initiatives for student support

This full-time schedule consists of 37.5 hours per week and may include a few additional pre- and post-planning days. The position is ideal for dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference for students with special needs.
