The Staff Pad is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a well-established GI practice within a large, physician-led, independent not-for-profit health system. Practice Info

• Full-time, employed Gastroenterology position
• Mix of outpatient and inpatient cases (approximately 70% outpatient / 30% inpatient)
• Established referral base within a robust primary care network
• State-of-the-art facilities and equipment
• Integrated Epic EMR across all inpatient and outpatient settings (HIMSS Level 7)
• Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students

Responsibilities

• Manage a mix of outpatient and inpatient cases
• Participate in a manageable call schedule
• Utilize ERCP privileges if qualified
• Engage in teaching opportunities with residents and medical students
• Pursue opportunities for clinical research and leadership involvement

Compensation

• $800,000 Year 1 income guarantee - with $1M+ earning potential
• Sign-on bonus: $100,000
• Quality and value-based incentive opportunities (2.5%+ annually)
• Value-based program: up to $150,000 additional annual opportunity
• APP supervision compensation
• Call pay and additional stipends available
• Fellowship stipend: $2,000/month for up to 24 months
• Additional income through clinical research

Requirements

• BE or BC in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
• ERCP experience preferred but not required
• Open to experienced physicians and new fellows
• J-1 Visa sponsorship available
